Sound familiar?
Something on your website needs changing, and it keeps sliding down the list.
“How do I change prices on my WordPress site?”
You’ve logged in and clicked around, but the thing you need isn’t where you’d expect it to be.
“I just haven’t got time”
You could probably work it out, but it would eat into time you’d rather spend on the business.
“The person who built it has moved on”
The designer or agency who made your site isn’t around any more, or isn’t replying.
“I’m worried I’ll break something”
One wrong click and the page looks different, so the change keeps getting put off.
A recent call
A shop owner rang me recently. She sells her products on her WordPress site and needed to change the prices. She’d tried to do it herself, but couldn’t find where.
The first thing she asked was the price, and £39 for a small change was fine. She wanted to talk on WhatsApp rather than email, and asked me to sign an NDA (a non-disclosure agreement) before she gave me access.
The change took about 15 minutes.
It isn’t you
WordPress hides things in odd places. That’s especially true on sites built with a page builder (a tool such as Elementor or Divi that controls the layout) or with WooCommerce (the part of WordPress that runs an online shop).
A price might be set on the product, on each size or colour of it, or typed straight into a page by whoever built the site. Knowing where to look is my job, so it doesn’t have to be yours.
WordPress website changes I can make for you
Most jobs are WordPress content updates, like new prices, new words or new photos. Here are some of the most common.
Update prices and products
Change prices, add or remove products, and update descriptions and photos, including in WooCommerce shops.
Change text and photos
Rewrite a paragraph, correct a typo, or swap old photos for new ones.
Add a new page or blog post
A new service page, a page for an offer, or a news item, laid out to match the rest of your site.
Update menus and links
Add a page to the menu, change the order, or fix links that go to the wrong place.
Update contact details
A new phone number or address, different opening hours, or someone joining or leaving your team page.
Swap the logo, colours or fonts
Put your new logo in place, or bring the colours and fonts in line with your branding.
Fix how it looks on phones
Text that’s too small, buttons that overlap, or a section that doesn’t fit the screen.
Add a form, button or map
An enquiry form, a “Book now” button, or a Google map showing where to find you.
Add tracking codes
Google Analytics, the Meta pixel for Facebook and Instagram ads, or another code you’ve been asked to add.
Every change includes
- A full backup before anything is changed
- My own login, so your password stays yours
- Updates by WhatsApp, phone or email, whichever you prefer
- A message when it’s done, saying what I changed
- A heads-up before I go over the time you’ve paid for
- Adjustments if something isn’t quite right
Not on the list? If it’s on your WordPress site, I can most likely change it. Describe it when you order, or call me on 0118 242 2555 to check first.

How it works
You don’t need to know anything technical. I’ll guide you through each step.
1
Order and describe the changes
Choose an option, list what you’d like changed and pay by card. It takes about 2 minutes.
2
Give me access
I show you how, step by step. You add me as a user on your site, so your password stays yours. Can’t log in? I’ll show you how to do it through the company you pay for your website.
3
I make the changes
I take a full backup of your site first, then make the changes you asked for.
4
You check them
I message you with what’s done. If something isn’t right, I’ll fix it.
Your site and your business stay private
I’m Peter Claridge, and I run WebsiteAdmin on my own from Reading, Berkshire. The person you talk to is the person who makes your changes, and nobody else sees your site.
Confidential by default
Your site, your customers and your figures stay between us.
I’ll sign your NDA
If you’d like a non-disclosure agreement, tick the box when you order and I’ll sign yours before you share anything.
Your password stays yours
You add me as a user, and you can remove me when the job’s done.
A backup before any change
Your whole site is backed up before I touch anything, so it can always be put back.
Not sure this is the right service?
Website changes are for things that work but need updating. If that’s not quite it, one of these may suit you better.
Something’s broken
Errors, a blank page, or you can’t log in. That needs a repair rather than a change.
See WordPress RepairYou need changes every month
A care plan includes edit time every month, plus updates and backups.
Compare care plansYour site is slow
Pages take too long to load, or the dashboard crawls when you try to edit.

Need changes every month?
Care plans include monthly edit time: 15 minutes on Essentials, 30 on Growth and 60 on Premium, and unused minutes roll over for one month. They also cover updates and backups. From £49 a month, cancel any time.
Questions about WordPress website changes
What counts as a small change?
Anything I can do in up to 30 minutes. For example, updating a handful of prices, swapping a few photos, editing the text on a page or changing your opening hours. You can list more than one thing, as long as it all fits in the time.
What if it takes longer than 30 minutes?
If it’ll take longer than 30 minutes, I’ll tell you before I start, and you can move up to a half day or cancel for a full refund. I won’t go over the time you’ve paid for without asking you first.
Do I need to give you my password?
No. After you order, I show you step by step how to add me as a user on your WordPress site, so your password stays yours, and you can remove me when the job’s done. If you can’t get into WordPress at all, I’ll show you how to give me access through the company you pay for your website (for example Hostinger or GoDaddy), which is what people mean by your “hosting”.
Will you sign an NDA?
Yes. If you’d like me to sign a non-disclosure agreement (NDA), tick the box when you order and send it to support@websiteadmin.co.uk or by WhatsApp. I’ll sign and return it before you give me access to anything.
How quickly will it be done?
I’ll be in touch by the next working day at the latest. Small changes are often done the same or next working day, but it depends on what’s already booked in, so I can’t promise a time. If it’s urgent, call me on 0118 242 2555 before you order and I’ll tell you when I can start. My working hours are 9:00 to 17:30, Monday to Friday.
Can you update my WordPress website if someone else built it?
Yes. It doesn’t matter who built your site, including sites made with a page builder and WooCommerce shops. I’ll look at how it’s set up before I change anything.
Can we talk on WhatsApp?
Yes. WhatsApp, phone or email, whichever suits you. Choose when you order, and that’s how I’ll keep you updated.
Is there VAT to add?
No. I’m not VAT registered, so the price you see is the price you pay.
What if I don’t like the change?
Tell me and I’ll adjust it. I take a full backup before I start, so anything can be put back the way it was.
Tell me what needs changing, and I’ll take it from there
Or message me on WhatsApp
